The visible cities
**The Visible Cities: The Summer Theatre and Music Festival Returns**
This year too, Le Città Visibili, the summer theatre and music festival curated by Tamara Balducci, reaches its twelfth edition. Born with the intent of giving new life to abandoned urban spaces such as the Garden of Palazzo Lettimi and the Ex Macello in via Dario Campana, the festival maintains its vocation of enriching the city with beauty through high-quality artistic proposals.
This year, the festival will take place in several suggestive locations in Rimini, including the Arena Francesca da Rimini, the Corte degli Agostiniani, the Teatro degli Atti, the former Astoria cinema, the rooftop of the Museo della Città and the Cast Oro Teatro. The festival offers a rich cultural program that ranges from theater, music and workshops, inviting the public to reflect on the contemporary through different interpretations, without losing sight of the link between past and future.
The 2024 edition is preceded by two unmissable events. On August 12, at 9:30 pm at the Arena Francesca da Rimini, the show *"Sconcerto d'amore"* by the Nando e Maila company will be held, created in collaboration with SGR Live. This comic concert-show tells a troubled love story, enriched by aerial acrobatics, musical juggling and a magical sound atmosphere created by instruments transformed in surprising ways. Admission is free, offered by SGR.
On August 16, at 9:30 pm at the Corte degli Agostiniani, the show *"La calda estate"* will be held, a production of Le Città Visibili in collaboration with ANPI and the Municipality of Rimini. This show, written by Riccardo Tabilio and directed by Michele Di Giacomo, is dedicated to the Rimini martyrs of the Liberation, Mario Capelli, Luigi Nicolò and Adelio Pagliarani, on their eightieth anniversary. Lorenzo Carpinelli, Matteo Gatta, Tomas Leardini, Stefano Delvecchio (accordion) and Adele Delvecchio (violin) will perform on stage. Admission is free, offered by ANPI.
The main programme will resume from 29 August until 15 September, with a series of theatrical and musical performances featuring leading artists such as Olivier Dubois, Marta Cuscunà, Gioia Salvatori, Roberto Abbiati and Leonardo Capuano, as well as renowned companies such as Teatro Sotterraneo, Fanny&Alexander, Kepler-452 and more.
A new feature this year is the music section curated by Supèrfluo, a new format created by Equilibrista srls. This section will debut in Rimini from September 6 to 8, with three concerts hosted on the rooftop of the City Museum. The evenings will feature performances by Ainè, Elasi and Anna Carol.
