Balamondo World Music Festival

From 21 to 23 August 2024, Rimini will be transformed into the stage of Romagna folk dance, hosting the 9th edition of the Balamondo World Music Festival. Under the artistic guidance of Mirko Casadei, the festival will offer three evenings dedicated to liscio and international sounds, with the participation of numerous guests ready to experiment and mix the Romagna musical tradition with their unique styles.

This innovative event sees artists blend their music with liscio, creating a unique show that celebrates the popular tradition of Romagna. Mirko Casadei, accompanied by his Big Band, will be the protagonist of the evenings, celebrating 70 years of "Romagna Mia" together with renowned national and international artists.

The festival, which returns to Rimini with a new setting just a few steps from the sea, will see the participation of illustrious guests such as Tullio De Piscopo, internationally renowned drummer, singer-songwriter and percussionist (21 August), the Irish folk group Modena City Ramblers and the Banda Città di Rimini (22 August), and finally Alberto Bertoli, son of the famous singer-songwriter Pierangelo Bertoli (23 August).

This event is a tribute to the rich popular culture of Romagna, celebrating the sunny, positive and welcoming identity that characterizes this land. The evenings will begin at 9:00 pm, offering everyone the opportunity to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of celebration and tradition.
