The Rimineser - Open Circuit of the Biennale Disegno Rimini: Exhibition at the Grand Hotel

Exhibition curated by Caterina Mendolicchio. In the 'Tonino Guerra' room of the Grand Hotel in Rimini, 31 illustrators - Rimini by birth or adoption - are exhibiting their works, until 3 August (free entry during the opening hours of the Grand Hotel, from Monday to Sunday ).
These artists are part of a project that was born as a graphic experiment inspired by the legendary New Yorker magazine to give space to creatives and illustrators capable of describing Rimini through different eyes and styles.
“The Rimineser” is an illustrated tribute to one of the liveliest, most eclectic and young holiday cities in Italy. A widespread project that has the dream of bringing together dozens of artists under a single vision. The format is the central element of this project: it allows the exploration of languages, builds a collective discourse, recomposes individuals in a participatory narrative.
On the opening day of the exhibition , during the inauguration ( 12 July at 6.30 pm ), the artists meet the public during the collective live drawing , in the splendid setting of the terrace of the Grand Hotel, showing the creative processes, sketches and drafts of the their most recent works. The public is invited to sit with the artists, involved in the creative process, while the curator Caterina Mendolicchio and Alessandra Bigi Iotti, curator and member of the technical committee of the Rimini Drawing Biennale, will present the project and introduce the individual artists. Followed by a toast.

The artists on display are: Caterina Mendolicchio, Fillo733, Camilla Tomasetti, Ramilia, Denis Lucchini, Sbertof, Marco Pari, Linda Bernabini, Alberto Mazza, Alessia Elettra Campana, Fiammetta Motturi, Sofia Boni, Ekaterina Demina, Alessandro Guidi, Ilarius, Tropical Mora , Alessandro PIXA, Melissa Falconi, Sweet Candyroll, Via Canonica, Linda Cannata, HAKZJ, Patty Sacchi, Andrea Raschi, Niccolò Tonelli, Giulia Violanti, Markéta Brehcerová, Simona Rosati, Giorgia Marani, Beatrice Maffei, Luca Cavalieri.
In case of bad weather the event will take place inside the Tonino Guerra room.
